Changes

As the sun wakes and greets me with the monotony of an old friend calling on a regular basis, so you my friend and guide wake me to put pen to paper once more.
With questions running through my head and therefore not sleeping what better way than having me write my answers down.
You know me so well, you know the questions before I ask them of my self, never mind asking you for guidance.
Something has changed within, I fell different!
I don’t know why or what but there is a change, and it is not only happening to me.
Many people are experiencing a change too, whether it’s in the work place or at home there are changes happening.
What is this change within me?
This is not a physical change, although I have contemplated that too, this change I have, it’s a feeling of being at one, of completeness enveloping me and giving me the understanding and acceptance that had been missing in my life.
It has been as if a light bulb has been switched on, an old cliché I know, but that is what it really feels like and I have you my dear Spirit friend and guide to thank for this.
What I thought was indifference or anger on various subjects has become understanding that I can not always change what is happening around me. I personally do not have that control.
So why get angry and upset, why let this dark power have control over me?
I have the light and the knowledge that prayer can and will change every negative thought that is sent out into a message of good.
I understand that this takes a little while and will not happen over night, but it works.
Prayer is a powerful instrument and we don’t use it enough.
Prayer needn’t be some long old fashioned monotone dirge learnt as a child, it can be the small positive thought that is just handed up to Spirit, a small question that needs an answer.
Having trust that Spirit will answer, and also the knowledge that Spirit will not let us down.
I realised that I did have the trust in spirit, it was not having the trust in me that got in the way of spirit being able to do their work through me.
I don’t believe it was ego, but the doubt of being able to do the job in hand to a standard that I thought spirit demanded, never realising that all spirit asked was that I worked for them and with them in love, light and joy.
Now that I have this understanding the change inside has been overwhelming and that is also taking time to accept.
I have always been told that spirit will never give us anything we can not deal with no matter how big or small it is, we are the ones who make the difficulties, we are the ones who give ourselves more problems that causes despair and all because we don’t listen to spirit.
So now I am listening, now when they suggest I work at 4am I do knowing that I can catch up on my sleep throughout the day. When they show me a job to do for them, I will not question the why or how, but accept it for the experience of working for spirit. I have learnt not to get in spirits way!

And I feel happier for acknowledging this simple statement and blessed that spirit still want to work with me after all the times I question and refuse to act.
I have changed and I welcome the change into my life and my heart

This Soul

This soul of yours, the one that is connected to us we recognise it as you wake every morning and we watch you every day.
Looking after you or looking out for you is part of our ‘job’ when it come to you dear child of spirit.
We can not live your life for you.
We cannot tell you what to do.
We are here to guide you and support you in all things.
How do we know it’s you?
We see your light, your beacon that shines and pulsates with every breath you take.
We know its colour, it’s shape and size.
We can tell if you are having good days or bad days.
We share your joys and your sorrows.
You are part of us the part that is living a lesson while we are watching you and learning this lesson with you.
Your soul is our soul, we are one and we rejoice in this.
Every night as you sleep we see your soul travel back to us joining with us once again as a family.
We talk to you, we encourage you and help to revitalise you so you may be ready for the next day on the Earth plain.
Your questions are answered while you visit us, although sometimes you are not meant to know the answers just yet!
Child of spirit, we love you, we rejoice in you and all you do.
Take our love and cherish it keep it with you at all times for we never leave you and never will.

Morning Call

Again you wake me. The dawn has already started to appearI wonder why you wake me, is it to tell me my destiny? Some enlightened words of wisdom?Are you reminding me of my pathway? Telling me I have strayed off my path?
As I lie here I hear what you are saying, and it is so simple I should have heard it at once“Live your life simply and without stress, find the peace within and enjoy the gifts that surround you”
So I look for these gifts and I find them in the simplicity of the sun rising, watching it creep over roof tops
Hearing the blackbird welcome the day in full voice, the doves cooing ’Good morning’ to each other, swifts darting across the morning breeze and the smell of honeysuckle beneath my bedroom window gently filling the room with its beautiful fragrance.
And I know now why you woke me, to give me the beauty of dawn breaking, the most perfect and simple blessing you could share with me the start of another perfect creation that happens every day if only we look for it.
It happens right in front of our eyes and we don’t always see it because we become too busy with ‘important things’ that get in the way.
As I lie here I thank you for waking me, for reminding me of all those things I had forgotten about the simple beauty of nature and I realise I have been blessed
